About the lodge
Morpho Lodge is the quaint 25 m² cottage a few steps further up the path, named after the blue morpho butterflies that drift past the terrace in the afternoon. A comfortable queen-size bed, a small kitchen, a bright living space and a 15 m² terrace into the green.
Inside: queen bed with two bedside tables, a dining area for two, a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee machine and the basics for light meals, hangers and storage, and a private bathroom with hot shower. Air conditioning with HEPA filter for the humid nights.
Outside: the terrace and its grill, and the jungle. Morpho is slightly more tucked away than Turtle — the one to pick if you want the quietest spot on the property. Solar-powered, on our own well water, and with us around to book your tours.

Good to know
- Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 11 am — tell us your arrival time and we'll be there (or leave everything ready for self check-in).
- Food: no restaurant on site. Cook in your lodge, or eat in Puerto Jiménez, 10 minutes away — we'll send you our list of favourites.
- Getting here: gravel track for the last stretch; 4x4 recommended, or we pick you up in town for free.
- Wildlife: the lodge is inside a wildlife corridor. Monkeys, coatis and birds pass through daily — keep food inside and the terrace doors closed when you're out.
